I finished it a couple days ago! wewt. I learnt some French.

Now I’m 1/3 into Deception Point by Dan Brown. It is so good so far. Just as good as A&D and the DC. It amazes me how he writes these amazing books with so much factual things and places. How do you do it? Dan Brown is an amazing writer, no?

So right now I’m waiting with my sis to get a rid to my grandparents’ house to spend new years eve. We’re still waiting.. and waiting… ’cause mom is getting my sis to curl her hair. EVERYTIME they go out, my mom makes it a big deal and has to dress up.. change…… fix something…. get her hair straightened or (ugly) curls in her hair. My dad has bascially chasing flies and twiddling his thumbs right now.

FUck old white librarians. They are so OLD FASHIONED ‘n shit. So I had 2 books on hold but I couldn’t find my moms library card(it’s under her name). I told the fuckingoldwhitelibrarian that I knew the number by heart, the pin, the address, phone number and all the personal information as I am her daughter. GOd she is so old fashioned she said to me “Nope. I wouldn’t even let your mom take it out without proper ID if she didn’t have her library card. Now go put those hold sheets back on the books.”

Fuck you. I should’ve ran to the young brown EXTREMELY easy-going guy cause he’s the most awesomest librarian this library has ever seen.

FAMILY GET TOGETHER!

Yesterday at Henry’s house. B. Hau, John’s family, this couple IDK, henry’s family, grandparents and us! Everytime my uncle has a family get together–at least that uncle– he orders probably 200$ worth of chinese food.. TAKEOUT. Not really classy  but no one complains.

I watched spider man 3 with my sister after the parents went downstairs to karaoke. Vicky was still at work so she missed everything. I met avalyn(?) my halfer second cousin. She is ADORABLE! I saw her when she was a couple months old before and she was so chubby. Now she’s really skinny and CUTE. One thing she is not, is shy. She crawled on everyone and gosh she is great. Linda kept videotaping everyone and my sister and aunt. M were extremely camera shy. I played Mario party ds with Henry but I didn’t win. Darn YOSHI. My cousins are gr. 2 and 3 and they each have their own laptop. o_O new laptops too! Later when Linda went to eat first I was given the honorable duty of filming the kids for the last 7 minutes. I probably made her proud. I filmed the inside of Henry’s mouth HAHA. Tony is such a freak. All he talks to me about are DS and GAMES. He sees me he will say… “did you bring your DS?” no. “where is your DS”? It’s at home. “why didn’t you bring your DS”? I FORGOT.

When it came down to the last 30 seconds of the tape I got all the kids to wave and say goodbye.

I should become a movie producer. That was simply gold.

Fri 19th: Afterschool mommaa and dad picked us up to go metro……………………… um we ate at Sui sha ya (sp?). Lindu and wendu met my parents. Linda was all smiles LOL.

Sat 20th: I worked morning….

22th: HBD JANETTTTTTT! it was really snowy but my mom wanted to go somewhere so we went d/t. It was really cold… we stayed in pacific centre and then mom wanted to go metro YET AGAIN so we did. I was going to buy that helvetica shirt! But they had no M. mom was afraid it would shrink more.. soo… we had to go though and they said they will call me once they get it! sweet.

weds 24th: Worked NIGHT for once. Met this new girlllll also and she’s really REALLY pretty and tall. Could be a model if you ask me.  We closed at 8:30 instead of 9 cause my manager didn’t want to stay LOL. Apparently we only opened because the other restaurants were closed. Hahahahaaaa. Free shakeeeeee yeahyeahuhhhhhhh.

25th: XMAS I didn’t do anything special.

26th: worked morning. Family picked me up after and we went to Coquitlam centre. It was sort of crowded and I didn’t really get anything. I got adidas pants for half off (YEAH!) at OTW. I ate at taco time and then had a cotton candy blizzard. MmmMMZmMMmmM. Artizia never has sales. *BOO* I was going to get this sweater….. but I’d rather not buy another tna thing. MOM agreed to let me buy something online . I did however get something useful. I got Kapersky anti-virus for 29.99(not on sale) and an 8 GB sony usb for 29.99 too. YAY

27th: Worked morning again. Family picked me up YET AGAIN to go to the other houseee to meet Charlotte to talk about the tree thing. She forgot about it and we planned to meet next Tues. We went to Willowbrook mall in langley and again, didn’t really get anything cause…….nothing catches our eyes now.. so shopping sucks. I was craving pancakes all day and planned for us to go to IHOP–though at night. We were going to but I was reallly hungry.. dinner hungry so we ate at Pizza Hut. I ordered quesidillas for the first time but our server thought we ordered spin rolls so we got a free plate. Yup so I got to try both. We ordered a lot and had to take home a lot of thing. We had: 2 mediun pizzas, 20 wings, 4 piece quesidilla, 4 spin rolls.

“Gordy” needs to trim his nails. I saw that his nails on his (toe)? and it has grown so long and round that it’s curved and digging into his skin–from what I can see. But he is a dog and he cannot do it himself. Bac Nguyen has done so before and it has cut into his skin, alors he is scared of it just like he is scared of showers. Today dad needed to go to the bank for something, and so I took gordy to get his nails trimmed. The bank was closed so dad went with me with gordy. He would NOT stay in arms. It was freakin’ snowy everywhere and I’m sure wouldn’t want to get wet. But he kept moving his paws trying to escape from my hold. FINE. I let him down and he was happy. On the way there, back and to the shop he barked at every human he saw. I said “sorry” but they all shrugged it off cause he’s so cute. Into the store the lady tells me that the groomer lady went home because 2 people already cancelled.

Now we have to come back tomorrow. Dam. it. to. hell. IT TOOK US 20 mins to get home, when it usually takes about 7. F the snow, F traffic, F EVERYTHING.

POSTCARD COLLECTION

I hate you planning teacher. No one listens when  you talk for more than 5 minutes(10-20…WTF?). Fuck your fake blonde hair and your overdramatic movements and your voice and EVERYTHING. Oh and you get the most boringest guest speakers ever.

Other than that I think it was an overall productive day. I finished almost all of my work and I was wide awake! I got 9 hours of sleep *looks smug*. We get to give our secret santa presents on FRIDAY YAY! I wonder how that’ll turn out.

After school today mom picked us up late -.-” 15 minutes, but she had a legitimate reason. The JPARLEY people live behind 192house(for rent) and they saw people digging up our tree/shrub type things. Mom was pissed. She told us that earlier today she and dad went down to see what was happening. The people who are renting the land, well their son was there and he was digging up the trees(used as a fence all around the 5? 6? acres). She asks what the hell they’re doing and well he was digging up the trees to SELL them and MAKE MONEY for ELECTRICITY n shit in the greenhouses. Yeah it seems like no big deal but he got tractors and shit to dig up 60 TREES? SIXTY TREEEEEES? WHAT THE HECK RIGHT? What happened to notifying the landlord as common courtesy or plain ol’ permission? After they talked mom and dad bitched at them for doing that(when I heard I was pissed too) but had to go home to eat before dad went to work. When mom picked us up we went  192house, as she wanted me for a “witness” about previous negitiations with the 2 people who rented the land. Uh.. I’m sure they believed us though LOL.

I went out of the car and the guy responsible for everything seemed genuinely apologetic. Mom, yet again explained how pissed off she was and how pissed off her parents are. I’m sure he understood. Mom called the other ppl who are renting the houses and talked to him for 10-15 mins about the situation. During that time I was behind her talking to the guy. He explained to me everything and he was sincerely sorry. Usually I know when ppl are BS-ing but he wasn’t! After the phone call, my mom sort of yelled at him again for doing this without permission, still outraged by the fact that he dug up 60 trees. I pitied him so much. I wished I wasn’t in his position. My mom, typical asian mother she is, repeatedly stated that:

• She was unhappy (most repeated line. O.M.G)
• her parents are unhappy
• his parents are really nice, hence we let them rent cheaper for a couple months
• how he did it without permission
• she is ANGRY

She repeats her state of mind 943578947589347 times in every argument because she thinks either the other person has not heard it or forgot she said it(……). He apologized a million times almost and he offered compensation. He said that he would make 1700 from the 60 trees(I still can’t believe he DUG UP 60 TREES WITH TRACTORS WITHOUT PERMISSION) and he would pay my mom and later give her a percentage from the profit he makes off the land— him and his parents are deciding to plant plants and shit to selllll in the greenhouses and on the land during the summer months. My mom didn’t even reply to it, as she kept on going on and on about how she was so unhappy. He was planning to take some trees out (from the middle cause he had to either way) and put them into the place of the old trees to make it look nicer. How thoughtful(NO sarcasm). So glad that’s over though.

Maintenant nous ne savons pas encore. Mon pere ne sait pas encore aussi. Si nous allons, c’est avec mes grandparents, mes parents, ma soeur et moi. Mama a dit que nos amis de famille(deux famille?) qui habite à Londres, en Angleterre.. peut-être, nos amis de famille qui a habite ici aussi, et qui sait, veulent aller avec nous. Ma mere dira nos autres amis de famille alors…. elle a beaucoup d’amis qui lui a invité avant.

Je veux aller en France encore une fois. Le fois passé je n’avais que dix ans, si jeune et si stupide. Je ne sais pas pourquoi nous sommes allées, il y a 4 années, en 2004. En Italie…. en Angelterre… en Espagne(?)… en Allemagne.

I worked sat. morning. My check got deducted -20$ for a initiation fee :/ WILL ASK MANAGER P. Uhm I got my secret santa her present , Janet got hers a present too. We ate at nyfries..went to the library and went home. It was freezing outside.

Mom and dad are almost done with the tiles… they have only a bit to do today. Yesterday night while watching AMW(we do every week), my mom was trying to pronounce marijuana. Mom didn’t want to cook so she bought Church’s chicken. Mmmm fattening. It snowed Friday morning and this morning.

Oh yeah I also got the shittiest shifts for winter break. Xmas eve, boxing day, day after boxing day, new years day(YEAH WTF) and the 3rd of January. It’s almost all morning shifts too, except for XMAS eve. Xmas is closed or else they’d probably put me on the shift too. I hope I get paid more….. 8D. 1.5x on the 1st? I SURE HOPE SO CAUSE THAT IS HOW I’LL SPEND THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR! Dododo I got my tips from last week…. and this week too. *yay* but I spent it (almost) all in the mall….. :’(
