THe bolded are the marks that really matter on this rc. The math most importantly… at least it’s not LOW y’know. I need my 12 marks to be HIGHIGHIGH!

In my rc envelope I also got… Cayley math contest top 25%(I have the gauss too.. from grade 7 LOLS).. and the ad solem achievement thing which I also got last year. Sis got a 5$ tim hortons card for volunteer at the FHCF LOL!

Awards ceremony was 2 nights ago. I borrowed AL’s cardigan and wore a blue talula shirt and dress pants. Dad and I were soooooo bored at home for 8 hours waiting for it. WE had nothing to do. Dad busied himself watching tv, doing some garden work and picking cherries while I did nothing.

The ceremony itself was supposed to be 1 hour but it ended up being 2 hours. What amazes me is that some people can get multiple awards in such big subjects. One guy got like 8 awards………….. shit. As guessed I got the fr 11 award. Everyone who was standing in my row were good language students so yes. I think I might’ve been able to get top overal (M said hers was 92%??) IF I didn’t get a B. The requirements were “4.0 throughout the year” so I was immediately omitted from that. JP too.

After it all mom insisted we take pictures. We took like 7 family pictures(first inside.. then outside because it’s “better”).. and a couple pics of me and sis. We learned that mom SUCKS at taking pictures and using the camera. Instead of zooming in for the shot she moved closer. Our pictures were slanted and there was event a shot of the floor.

Mom’s always up her friend’s asses’ because she has an iphone thus she is oh so much more technologically advanced than them, yet she fails to use a simple camera. (ANYONE can use any camera at any given time because they’re all the same……) When dad tells her what to do cause she’s hopeless she yells at him because she can’t stand to be wrong. When we got home, mom was still pissed and dad was pissed because mom’s irrationally stubborn and they started to yell at each other…. very loudly.

I wish I’d gotten another award though. Try again next time.

P.S. mom said “You better at at least 3 awards next year, (to my sis) you at least 1″

My mom doesn’t get it..  it’s for TOp students who excel at certain subjects. For ex.. socials, math, english, the subjects that everyone HAS to take are even harder to get it in. ‘Cause 200-300 kids are taking those classes and you have to EXCEL way past them to even be considered for it. Mom doesn’t get it. She just wants bragging rights.

Sis filled me in on mom’s behaviour during the ceremony. “WHY DIDN’T JENNY GET THE MATH AWARD?? WHY IS HE GETTING IT? WHY DIDN’T JENNY GET ANY INFO-TECH AWARDS? she didn’t take it. SHE SHOULD’VE AND GOTTEN AN AWARD SO SHE CAN BE THE ONLY GIRL. WHY DIDN’T SHE GET THE SCIENCE AWARD” THis was how it was throughout 2 hours. I pity my sis and my dad, who, on the otherhand was watching attentively because he was actually interested, unlike my mother who just wants  ME ME ME ME to get ALL ALL ALL ALL.

WOW to the only 3 people who got 4.0 throughout the entire year in my grade. WOW! only 3 I can’t believe it.
