RIP MICHAEL JACKSON :(

This post is long overdue. It never ceases to amaze me that I write about such useless things but when big events roll by I always fail to write about or mention it.

I first heard rumors of his death on twitter. Many people said “RIP MJ” and I was “nonono that’s not true MJ can’t DIE… he’s too young it’s probably a rumor”. It was around noon June 25 2009. I read other people’s posts and some said he was in hospital. I googled it.. I came to a TMZ article but I didn’t believe it. TMZ is like perez hilton.. gossip sites..quidnuncs!

On the news they confirmed it.. CNN confirmed it and the world started to mourn. I told my parents and both of them were shocked. I can’t believe he died…..

His public funeral was on TV yesterday. I had thought they would have had an open casket (what was I thinking?) for “one last look” at the king of pop but it was not so. He was in a gold coffin, cadillac according to my sis :/.

RIP Michael Jackson. I don’t believe the child molestation convictions against him at all. I read some article online where “Jordy” the kid whose parents sued Michael, now, after MJ’s death admits that his parents made him lie to “get out of being poor”. Him and his parents ruined him…

But we should remember him for all the acmes of his career, all the good and not the bad. Undeniably is the fact that he was a fantastic music icon.

Till my 1 year blogoversary.

Here’s an update on summer school:

• 32/35 on quiz! Not a bad start on the course. I was happy because I got everything right, but one question I didn’t elaborate enough so I lost 3 marks.
• I have a table partner now. She’s nice…. grad’d just this year but had to come to SS to take Eng 12 and this because she didn’t have enough credits. (I thought ENG12 was obligatory…). She told me our teacher is really easy going and nice and awesome. I can’t say I disagree. BUT she talks a lot to this other girl.
  “I’m gonna confront her and then jump her by myself I don’t care if I’m alone. I’ll totally fight her” << kind of like that but more badass.
• we have a lot of free time to work on our stuff.. I mean a LOT considering this is summer school and each day is the equivalent of a week. It’s kind of nice but I’m just hoping we won’t have to rush to cover all the material the last couple days.
• I wore my rainboots today and I like them a lot heheheheheh. Vancouver = city of rain, therefore my purchase was beyond reasonable! I heard someone on the next table say to a group of people “I want rainboots now. Like hers aren’t they nice?”    *smug*

How I met your mother = is my life. I don’t know what I’d do once I finish it. I’m nearing the end though, because I’ve watched a lot of the newer episodes on TV. I don’t like where this is going. (WHO IS THE MOTHER?!?!?!?!)

Last weekend I worked 5 hours out of a potential 13. My FR shift got cut on saturday, which bummed me out. I didn’t do anything at home anyways…. I have FR on sat so I’m happy!

I’m going to buy my hat this weekend! It’s 90$ <– which depresses me to no end, but it’s the nicest have I’ve seen, even though it doesn’t have as much RED on it as I’d like.. Ideally my perfect hat is $60 but of course that’s a little modest for something decent. It’s at BTB @ G.

Fri > dentist. I ALMOST had a cavity. Dr. H was like “that might be a cavity take an xray” so they did.. and I was trying some wishful thinking saying that it’s not a cavity and dr. H took a look at the xray, turned to me really quick and said “NO CAVITY!!! *thumbs up*” I was so relieved.

Sunday > mom and dad’s friends BC, BT & BM, BT & BS (from dao) came over for the first time. They all live in van and they had originally thought that we lived in chilliwack or abbostford, somewhere far and “country side” but soon they realized. They liked it here. CC wasn’t a total douche and he didn’t bark that much. Went swimming with S & J. Worked out for 30 full minutes beforehand(hehe). I saw B and K from work there.

Me and mom finally bought CC an.. article of clothing LOL from walmart. It was $11 and it makes him look like an old man! Pictures very soon Still need to buy a ‘harness’ for him.

V is in vietnam right now. I wish I was there *nostalgic thoughts* The closest thing to a getaway right now is in 1 year to quebec. Mom wants to take a winter vaca cause dad can get off work but us 3 have had winter vacas before and they weren’t great because it was so damn cold everywhere(EUROPE ESPECIALLy geez). I’m reconsidering it for…….. this yr? Probably not if… that happens. Maybe next? I’m just hoping for a summer europe vaca. That’s all I neeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddd it’s been too long ENOUGH SAID!@!@!
