What do I have on my Google Reader…

It’s actually 1050 right now, but I’ll post this at a later time so it doesn’t look like I posted 2 entries within a 30 minute time frame.

I have…. all these great design sites, awesome “concepts” and really cool architecture-ish sites. The design sites are cool. Some post up really amazing art work and it sort of inspires me. There is a LOT of them posted up. Though they are hugely inspiring to a lot of people, I am never inspired enough to actually do something awesome.

That is all.

I will write about my very, very first contact with Nissin cup noodles tomorrow. Hehehehe. (I might even make an awesome collage because Katy says that it is much more appealing to the eye than a mere picture from google images. But until then………………………..)

POSTCARD COLLECTION

I hate you planning teacher. No one listens when  you talk for more than 5 minutes(10-20…WTF?). Fuck your fake blonde hair and your overdramatic movements and your voice and EVERYTHING. Oh and you get the most boringest guest speakers ever.

Other than that I think it was an overall productive day. I finished almost all of my work and I was wide awake! I got 9 hours of sleep *looks smug*. We get to give our secret santa presents on FRIDAY YAY! I wonder how that’ll turn out.

After school today mom picked us up late -.-” 15 minutes, but she had a legitimate reason. The JPARLEY people live behind 192house(for rent) and they saw people digging up our tree/shrub type things. Mom was pissed. She told us that earlier today she and dad went down to see what was happening. The people who are renting the land, well their son was there and he was digging up the trees(used as a fence all around the 5? 6? acres). She asks what the hell they’re doing and well he was digging up the trees to SELL them and MAKE MONEY for ELECTRICITY n shit in the greenhouses. Yeah it seems like no big deal but he got tractors and shit to dig up 60 TREES? SIXTY TREEEEEES? WHAT THE HECK RIGHT? What happened to notifying the landlord as common courtesy or plain ol’ permission? After they talked mom and dad bitched at them for doing that(when I heard I was pissed too) but had to go home to eat before dad went to work. When mom picked us up we went  192house, as she wanted me for a “witness” about previous negitiations with the 2 people who rented the land. Uh.. I’m sure they believed us though LOL.

I went out of the car and the guy responsible for everything seemed genuinely apologetic. Mom, yet again explained how pissed off she was and how pissed off her parents are. I’m sure he understood. Mom called the other ppl who are renting the houses and talked to him for 10-15 mins about the situation. During that time I was behind her talking to the guy. He explained to me everything and he was sincerely sorry. Usually I know when ppl are BS-ing but he wasn’t! After the phone call, my mom sort of yelled at him again for doing this without permission, still outraged by the fact that he dug up 60 trees. I pitied him so much. I wished I wasn’t in his position. My mom, typical asian mother she is, repeatedly stated that:

• She was unhappy (most repeated line. O.M.G)
• her parents are unhappy
• his parents are really nice, hence we let them rent cheaper for a couple months
• how he did it without permission
• she is ANGRY

She repeats her state of mind 943578947589347 times in every argument because she thinks either the other person has not heard it or forgot she said it(……). He apologized a million times almost and he offered compensation. He said that he would make 1700 from the 60 trees(I still can’t believe he DUG UP 60 TREES WITH TRACTORS WITHOUT PERMISSION) and he would pay my mom and later give her a percentage from the profit he makes off the land— him and his parents are deciding to plant plants and shit to selllll in the greenhouses and on the land during the summer months. My mom didn’t even reply to it, as she kept on going on and on about how she was so unhappy. He was planning to take some trees out (from the middle cause he had to either way) and put them into the place of the old trees to make it look nicer. How thoughtful(NO sarcasm). So glad that’s over though.

I never realized how much I MISSED listening to this stuff. The new stuff is good. BoA recently debuted in the USA. The US version of Eat You Up is really shitty. I can’t believe that they would embarass BoA like that. It doesn’t even deserve space for that vid on my blog post. Just no. The Korean version of the vid is 957345349x better hands down.

Today was Halloween of course! Went to THAQ’s this morning to get ready. B’s dad drove us… he hit the gate when backing out.  A bunch of people dressed up. My favourite has got to be Lory. She was Michael Phelps and she had a pool around her. She cut a hole in a small swimming pool and was the centre of it. She won the deserving spot of first place! <3 Lindu was a cowgirl… lots of people were fairies. Thaq was a (playboy) bunny. The most common costumes have got to be: cats, bunnies, fairies, angels and school girls. We’ve all seen way to many. Next year I’m going to actually dressed up. I looked messed up this year (only tried to look like something because of SC). I was Kanye west/mickey mouse/santa clause. Don’t you wonder how I turned out…. I had a santa had with mickey ears on it. I wore my bandana around my neck (with a mouth on it), thaq’s kanyeeee style glasses. I looked really lame but that’s okay. It was my fault for not looking for a costume earlier. Today I took more pictures than I did the past 6 months put together. D: Halloween = camwhore. Had a debate over confederation(me being on anti-confed) today in SS. Boo~

Today I went to AF. We spent half the class playing a game, boys vs. girls. We had to name as much *category here* as we possible can. We played Professions and Countries. The boys won both round… *shakes fist* ONLY because they were louder/stood closer to the teacher–which I still need to learn the name of. I think this kinda brought the class closer. One of the girls weren’t here today. It felt good NOT to have her here…because to me she’s a bit of an annoyance. I talked to the girls. They’re nice . I took out a magazine.. les actualites. I was reading it on the bus home. I know more than I actually thought.. I understand articles!! Which is probably at the level of my mom understanding English text, but that’s good! I’m proud. One article was about how gas is so high now/how to survive without gas, another was about how child predators have access to *bad material* really easily ever since internet became so common, and lastly was of how teens get injured most often on the job. The last two relates directly to my 2 classes. French… we’re doing the unit on the news, and Planning, about worksafebc.

I visited THAQ at mcds before getting picked up. She gave me discount *big smile*. I have work tomorrow… 10-2 BOO~ Volunteer sunday? wear pink!

I went to W’s today. We did our planning project on a pink poster. We listened to viet rap (LOL). I just hotpot and my grandparents were over. Hotpot > dim sum anyway! Dim sum sucks btw. I’m not looking forward to my Papineau project. I have to work on my wanted poster now.

Yesterday my parents went to some dinner party in Van. J and I stayed with S and A came along as well. We didn’t really want to pay for the movie, but we had to because there was a lady who started to check the tickets when we got there. Boo hoo. *SPOILER ALERT*

We watched Quarantine. There were some funny parts, following clapping from the audience. It wasn’t that scary. The camera kept moving so it was pretty shitty and blurry when it came to the almost-gore-ish parts.WTH? I thought they would be under a curse or something.. not have rabies. BOOO *thumbs down* I give it a 6/10 for their rabies-infected-humans and dogs. Shitty movie. Shitty how they showed the ending in the trailer. Fail.

Thus, we watched another movie to “help us forget the *pop-ups* from Q”. Eagle Eye. Such a good movie! My fav. action movie for sure. I love Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan(From made of honor)! Awesome movie. I recommend it! It was about…… actually it’s complicated to explain. I think I’ll buy or rent it for dad to watch; he loves these types of movies.

I need to expand my vocabulary! and I have just the thing…

Yup! So thankful for my r4. I have been using this… but just not lately. It’s supposedly here to “help me expand my vocab”. It’s not bad, but the thing is the daily quota is what? 100 words correct? and that’s a lot of potentially *new* words to learn in a day. Damn daily quota!

Same with french too. Hmmm this game is pretty awesome. I just don’t remember those words in real life situations.

Totally recommend it though! Don’t be surprised if I start to use bigger words.
