Sometimes my dreams are so f’d up! Other times it’s just weird.

A couple nights ago I dreamt I got fired from my job. Then I sort of woke up… fell asleep and this happened again. THE EXACT SAME DREAM…. 4 TIMES!! Ok not exactly the same.. but it was like I got to go back to before I got fired and was able to do something a little differently than before. But still, I got fired.

When I was fully awake I thought to myself “I won’t go to work friday”, still thinking I was fired.

Yay I got paid today. 12/hr <3 <3

My non-stop working started 2 days ago(Aug 26) and will continue to Sept. 6. I won’t have work on Monday next week though! In that time I’m working at 3 diff places lawl

I GOT MY L!!!!!!

I passed with 98%! Hellz yeah.

40/41, time: 9.9 minutes

I forgot money for the testing fee.. so my mom had to come back. Later, when I was about to take the test the lady said I needed parental permission, so mom came back again. I told her it would it 10$ more if I passed, but that escaped her mind so she went to the bank… and I had to phone her back again.

Some people actually use the entire 45 mins? WOW I cannot stand to write any type of test during the entire time. I’d go crazy.

I can’t wait to drive!!! heheheheheehehheehe.

ALL WORK NO PLAY?

• vz and me have decided t ohave a bday party. A reallllllllly small one though @ the keg. (The keg? I did say small!) We have to order cake in the next couple of days.At first I was like nah………… then I kind of felt like it, consulted with vz and yup it’s gonna happen. It took us a while to decide on a place… first wings > sammy j peppers > cactus club(which we were set on but vz’s mom says its too far) and finally the keg. I already know what I’m going to get. What I get at every restaurant that offers it…. RIBS!! hellz ya! It was at the keg that I first discovered this love.
• I don’t work tomorrow! yay. T quit, C got fired, and J quit too. We need to hire new people! So I can FR all day instead of B.
• I can’t go to ALE’s bday party because of work she still gets her present though
• The AWS location is changed this year! It’s even farther than last years… and not within walking distance of the skytrain. I now must bus :’(
• When I work @ AWS d/t, I have to stop by dipt and/or complex clothing so I can find my crooks and castles TEE FINALLY!! I emailed complex and they have it! $45 : M and L.
• Vz’s PRESENT IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!! I hope she likes it

Besides work and the occasional leave-my-house moments, my status is: bum. I will be at home, eat, watch tv, shower, sleep and probably blog. Maybe even fall under the category of “social outcast”. Whatever.

• I really need a hair cut. Should I still dye my hair? EHHHHHHH I can’t decide.
• Me and my sis’s unrealistic goal is to watch all 4 seasons of DH before september, when season 5 starts. I foresee failure.

We got an offer on the house and it’s kind of low but we should just SELL IT! The offer is ~15 k under the asking price *eye twitch* so the realtor is trying to get it up at least 10k than they offered.

• bought parents a picture frame from winners to accommodate the 8×10 that I got a couple days before.
• sis bought a shirt she was going to get last week
• went to the work meeting. left after an hour to go to sis’ ortho appointment which we ended up not getting to in time.
• alfredo sauce is fucking disgusting

I got the job at AWS again yay. 3 days of work just like last year. Pay is $12 for me! Not working setup sis got it too! she’s working 5 though BOO! On the topic of sis & work, she wants to do work experience at the keg. I approve 100%. She’d get sooooooo mjuch more tips than me.

I’m going to stop spending. I don’t buy a lot anyways but looking back to last year… it is a lot. First ~8 mo. of work I spent nothing! thanks daytum

went to grandpa and grandmas house early yesterday morning. took a 2 hr nap because we were so tired . Grandpa LOVES hot chocolate. He said to buy some of the individually packed ones so he can bring it to vietnam and spread the joy(my words not his).

cousins: my uncle & aunt brought aly and alex to these auditions for fun in downtown. It was for tv shows, commercials, etc. that kind of talent search. Out of 300 kids my cousin was one of the 10 that were chosen! Aly that is. They were put into seperate rooms and were assessed based on their intelligence level and such. L doesn’t want to put her in yet because they said it would cost $2000/yr. You would have to put $ in to get $ out. She’s going to wait until Aly is 8. Plus, she wants to keep auditioning to find an agent or w/e who wants Aly so bad she won’t have to pay.

I found out my family doctor got sued in Calgary for… touching women appropriately during “examination” so he moved down here.

Water

Yesterday the water pipe downstairs “exploded” so we have no running water. THIS IS THE PITS.

It’s because we have tenants downstairs. I believe it’s becaues they do the laundry EVERY EFFEN DAY holy shit.. = water is always always running and that’s not normal according to my dad. We only do it once a week. That’s normal isn’t it?

So…..we have been brushing our teeth, washing our hands, etc. with drinking water, which is ok as that is the only bountiful source of anything in my house.

No one wants to cook with no water… our dishes are piling up so me & sis decided to eat at ws before work. Dad was too lazy to come inside… so I got takeout for him(which he still hasn’t eaten yet geez). It was aight. First time eating breakfast there.

2.5 hours today. SO glad I got to go home. This week = 14 hrs (typically how much I work in 3 weeks LOL)

When someone asks me “what are you doing this summer?” I say “summer school”. These are the two types of responses that I get:

1. “That sucks!!!!”
2. “Me too! What are you taking?”

The two responses are from *generally* asian or white people. I think you can figure that out.

If I were a boss/manager/some superior being of some restaurant/store/etc and someone didn’t show up for their shift. If it’s without a legit reason I would fire their asses without a second thought. One girl at work has been late 2-3 times.. didn’t show up once or twice. She’s great… but she should be fired. how can you run anything with such flakey workers? It can’t be done.

I’m reading: Hunting and Gathering by Anna Gavalda(the french title is ensemble, c’est tout). I’m 3/5 of the way done and I really like it.

Whilst googling for the book cover I found out that because the book had been such a hit in France, it became a movie! I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! I wonder if Saint-Exupery will have it hehehe. I can’t wait. ————-YES THEY HVAE IT! I checked the online catalogue… .also they have the book. After reading this I’m going to read it in French. I wonder how.. I’ll do.

BTW that’s an obscene translation of the title. “Together, that’s all” to “Hunting and gathering?” Weird.

• Yesterday I was dying of boredom in my class.. so I decided to write a haiku, because A used to and it was interesting. Needless to say it was the stupidest thing I have ever written. Not proud***
• The test I thought I failed, I didn’t. 83.5% WOW I dodged that bullet.
• There’s this “gas smell” in the lobby at work… the workers can’t really smell it. I can’t. It’s been giving me a stomach ache—–only realized this after 3 other people said the same thing. Others have headaches or dizziness. Oh god we’re all going to get cancer when we’re old because of this nonononono

Firsts:
Wednesday shift. Hostessing for the first time… 15 mins for C when she went on her break. <NAT BAD AT ALL. 4 shifts this week. Record setting!! Next week I have 3 fr shifts <3 overjoyed, I am.

I’m getting a second cousin!!!

My cousin is having a kid.

I had no idea what would that make me or the baby so I googled it. It makes us… second cousins which doesn’t really make sense because second cousins are your cousin’s cousins.

NOT because I’m creepy. Because I’m a loyal fan and because it’s so awesome.

So naturally I followed him on twitter… (I HOPE HE DOESN’T (or anyone related) READS THIS because really… it’s kind of lame). One of his tweets were something like “why can’t you find cheap double sided tape in vancouver” and I told him to go to daiso as it is $2(I have some myself and it is AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE thanks S). I read his twitter and he went to daiso! How freaken awesome is that.. my favourite author not only read my reply but he went there ^-^-^-^-^-^__^_^__^_^_6_^_^

Spent two hours at the Daiso “All-Japanese / Everything $2″ store today. Brain exploded. Like being in Tokyu Hands.

Dogs

Right now I am on the buysell site(like the classfieds paper) looking at dogs. (ANYTHINg to avoid studying for tomorrows test )

I have always had a mental list of what dogs I like/do not like so I have resolved to list it here. (I LOVE LISTS!!!)

Dogs I like/would consider getting/are cute:

1. miniature pinscher! nuff said. Love my dog <3



2. blue nosed pit bull > they look BADASS! so cute so cute…



3. boston terrier > we DID have one for…… 2 days but me and my sis were chicken shit in grade 2 and 3 so we had to return it



4. white german sheperds: EXPENSIVE!! they go for a lot because they are rare. adorable <3



5. doberman pinscher > lol.. my sis used to think my dog was a “miniature doberman” because she is retarded. Apparently the two dogs have no link though they look strinkingly similar.



6. rottweilers are cool. FULL BREED only

*** Let me say this.. I do not like mixed dogs. It’s just… not PURE y’know. No offence. It’s weird.. because they’re like.. THIS dog but look like THIS OTHER dog and it’s just trips the heck out of me. EXCEPTION is when they’re furry long haired dogs. I don’t really know any of those breeds besides the obvious poms or chihuahuas so that’s ok… Big dogs are just weird mixed.
