It’s a new show on TLC.. premiering some time this week. *refer* to link. I wrote that I don’t like girl cops. They’re overly tough and that comes off as artificial and phony.
Seriously.. who’s going to watch that…….
Why don’t I like girl cops? THEY’RE FAKE!!! I don’t like cops as it is, so when I see female cops, OH that takes the cake. Oh yadda yadda girls can do whateva boys can do but BETTAH!!! EQUALITY! WE ARE ALL EQUAL etc. and all that shizzazz that comes with this.
No that is not true. Girls are better than boys at certain things and vice versa. Just not at being cops *shudders*. They’re like…. lesbians who are masculine….

Yesterday
was a good day at werk. I didn’t even take my break…cause I love what I do* so much. ^-^ When I get these shifts I don’t pay attention to the time (Oh! it’s 9 already?). Otherwise.. I watch the time very intently.
B asked me to bring drinks to this table.. I had nothing to do so I did. It turns out to be this guy in my bio class’s family there. I’m actually in his dissection group(turtle yeah! the other choices were pigeon or rat so I believe I made a great decision) so it was awkward. He looked at me like 
with his eyes open wide.
I was looking at the schedule HOPINg for a fr shift but no one has those shifts next week :/ Also, I’ve been getting 3 shifts /wk and the other 3 have been getting only 1. I’m so lazy when I have to B.. so I gave sunday to S. “I haven’t been getting any shifts” – OMGA you can have mine! She saved me from 4 hours of woe. Plus I think the famz is going to do something during this long weekend. Harrison maybe? Family friend from cowtown is coming down so probably go to see him.
Some lady ordered a burger w/o a bun. WITHOUT A FUCKEN BUN?! WHY THE HECK…… a burger without a bun. Some people are just crazy. She specified a “lettuce covering” instead. *eye twitch*
*****MY goal is blog about specific things. My old entries are all in some variation of the following: work, school, grades, books, general life.
P.S.! HAPPY AUGUST! 20 days until my 16th…. birthday… Should I do something?

MADNESS
I got my first complaint yesterday(yes! directed towards ME). I don’t know if it’s just me… but usually when u ask for refills for drinks in restaurants they refill it in the same cup, no?
Well I don’t know. Maybe I’m out of my mind but this guy and his girl asked me for refills so I got it for them… in the same cup (which may be bad but it never occured to me). LAter he complained to my manager saying the fries were cold(NOT MY FAULT on this one. I also got him fresh fries STAT) and that he felt like an “inconvenience” to me. Don’t be a douche. Please.
Well this is my fault.. no one told me about this so I refilled his drinks in the asme cup and didn’t change his ice(NOT A BIG DEAL) and he freaked out. oh STFU seriously…. some people are the worst. STUPID CUSTOMERS. I HATE PEOPLE…why do I work in a restaurant… AUGHHHHHHH
On top of that and the printers stopped working yesterday so for ~20 mins it was madness. MADNESSSS.
It was also scorching hot.
I’m *overreacting* even though it was my fault(partly) and I’ll admit that.. I just HATE CUSTOMERS WHO COMPLAIN FUCKKKKk. I, for one, NEVER EVEr complain about food in any restaurant. If it sucks I won’t come back is that not SIMPLE? GEEZ MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER AND DON’T COME BACK.
I’ll say something positive for balance. Some people are just so GREAT that I’d love to have tea (figure of speech I hate tea. I only like the generic iced tea) with them. Heck I’d treat them to a 12 course dinner. They’re so nice and forgiving and thankful and they never complain unless it’s WORTH complaining. <3 <3 <3
This other time one of the servers told me that this man said I didn’t wipe this table. WDF? I DID WIPE THAT TABLE. He only saw me do the last half of the cleaning process and had a fit. AAAARHHHHHHHHHHH

Water
Yesterday the water pipe downstairs “exploded” so we have no running water. THIS IS THE PITS.
It’s because we have tenants downstairs. I believe it’s becaues they do the laundry EVERY EFFEN DAY holy shit.. = water is always always running and that’s not normal according to my dad. We only do it once a week. That’s normal isn’t it?
So…..we have been brushing our teeth, washing our hands, etc. with drinking water, which is ok as that is the only bountiful source of anything in my house.
No one wants to cook with no water… our dishes are piling up so me & sis decided to eat at ws before work. Dad was too lazy to come inside… so I got takeout for him(which he still hasn’t eaten yet geez). It was aight. First time eating breakfast there.
2.5 hours today. SO glad I got to go home. This week = 14 hrs (typically how much I work in 3 weeks LOL)

Trendz/Firsts
When someone asks me “what are you doing this summer?” I say “summer school”. These are the two types of responses that I get:
- “That sucks!!!!”
- “Me too! What are you taking?”
The two responses are from *generally* asian or white people. I think you can figure that out.
If I were a boss/manager/some superior being of some restaurant/store/etc and someone didn’t show up for their shift. If it’s without a legit reason I would fire their asses without a second thought. One girl at work has been late 2-3 times.. didn’t show up once or twice. She’s great… but she should be fired. how can you run anything with such flakey workers? It can’t be done.
I’m reading: Hunting and Gathering by Anna Gavalda(the french title is ensemble, c’est tout). I’m 3/5 of the way done and I really like it.
Whilst googling for the book cover I found out that because the book had been such a hit in France, it became a movie! I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! I wonder if Saint-Exupery will have it hehehe. I can’t wait. ————-YES THEY HVAE IT! I checked the online catalogue… .also they have the book. After reading this I’m going to read it in French. I wonder how.. I’ll do.
BTW that’s an obscene translation of the title. “Together, that’s all” to “Hunting and gathering?” Weird.
- Yesterday I was dying of boredom in my class.. so I decided to write a haiku, because A used to and it was interesting. Needless to say it was the stupidest thing I have ever written. Not proud***
- The test I thought I failed, I didn’t. 83.5% WOW I dodged that bullet.
- There’s this “gas smell” in the lobby at work… the workers can’t really smell it. I can’t. It’s been giving me a stomach ache—–only realized this after 3 other people said the same thing. Others have headaches or dizziness. Oh god we’re all going to get cancer when we’re old because of this nonononono
Firsts:
Wednesday shift. Hostessing for the first time… 15 mins for C when she went on her break. <NAT BAD AT ALL. 4 shifts this week. Record setting!! Next week I have 3 fr shifts <3 overjoyed, I am.
